In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.

Romans 6:11 NIV

This verse is mind blowing, verse 7 of our theme verse says "because anyone who has died has been set free from sin." This makes us blameless and faultless before God, hence not subject to reproach, distress. It doesn't matter what our senses perceive or what the world thinks, as much as this world is concerned, we are dead to it, that is how God sees us.

The sweetest part is that we are alive to the Father in Christ, the Same God whom we sin against, "against you, you only have I sinned", He is the one that acquitted us from our sins. He is the one testifying that we are dead to sin, justified, washed and sanctified, and alive only to His care through Christ.

Do we trust Him to take care of us? The Israelites betrayed that trust upon all He did for them, hence they never entered His rest. Psalms 95:‬9 TPT says "Your ancestors challenged me over and over with their complaining, even though I had convinced them of my power and love. They still doubted my care for them."

Beloved, let us live in the consciousness that we are dead to the world and alive to God in Christ. All that we have including our job, houses, cars etc will someday perish, at the end of it all, it is only the Father and us, think calmly about this and build your relationship with the Father.

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO STAY ALIVE TO GOD'S CARE IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
