WE ARE COMPLETE IN CHRIST
and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority - Colossians 2:10 NIV
One of the reasons why the kingdom of God suffers violence is because we view it by sight not by faith. In parables, Jesus specifically compared the kingdom to the mustard seed and the yeast ( See Matthew 13) He did not say when they grow up they will be the kingdom. He said though they are the size of a mustard or yeast they are still the kingdom but are still growing.
The fact that we are children of God and still sin sometimes or feel sickness and troubles, does not mean we are not complete in Christ. It is just that we are still growing as children grow to adulthood. Just as the kingdom is not considered weak or lacking because it is not fully consummated, the same way , we are not weak or incomplete as we wait for the redemption of our body.
That is why the Bible says, " Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ."
(Ephesians 4:11-13 NIV)
WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO LIVE IN CONSTANT AWARENESS THAT WE ARE COMPLETE IN HIM IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
THANK YOU JESUS!
