WE ARE ESTABLISHED IN THE LAMB

He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, Out of the miry clay, And set my feet upon a rock, And established my steps - Psalms 40:2 NKJV

Beloved we are no longer in the horrible pit, our steps are established in Christ in God. The Bible tells us that "John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! (John 1:29 NKJV) Why did he say that?

The Bible says "even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, (Ephesians 2:5‭-‬6 NKJV)

This means that the lamb took our sin away, thereby taking us and all that we are, out of the horrible pit of sin and death, and our steps are established by God and in God.That is we are dead to sin and it's distress and alive to God's care. So whenever the enemy troubles us with condemnation, point him to the Lamb of God, who continuously takes away our sin and distress.

He is the living witness that we were dead but now alive in Him in God. He testifies our real nature in Christ . Our steps are established in Him, in God. Just as The Lamb who was dead but alive forever, we also were dead with Him and alive forever, because He lives, we shall live. Glory!
