Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin condemns any people.

Proverbs 14:34 NIV

The Hebrew word used for exalts here is " rum" meaning to promote, lift, exalts, to make great, honor. So we can put it this way that righteousness promotes, exalts , brings honor and greatness to a nation.

The Bible tells us that God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. (2 Corinthians 5:21 NIV)

Since we are the righteousness of God in Christ, He has promoted, exalted and lifted us. He has honored us and made us great. Think calmly about this: if God has promoted you, who can bring you down?

Isaiah 14:27 NIV says "For the Lord Almighty has purposed, and who can thwart him? His hand is stretched out, and who can turn it back?"

OUR earthly circumstances might not reflect this for our new birth is not of the will of the flesh, or human decision, but of God's. It doesn't matter anymore what looks wrong in our lives today, we are God's righteousness in Christ. Wrongs do not last in our lives, only rights. That's Why the Bible says "if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness. (Romans 8:10 NIV)

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO LIVE AND WALK IN RIGHTEOUSNESS IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
