WE ARE GROWING IN GRACE SO PRESS ON TO THE PERFECT DAY

And so I am sure that God, who began this good work in you, will carry it on until it is finished on the Day of Christ Jesus.

Philippians 1:6 GNT

Imagine that our text says "who began this good work in you, will carry it on until it is finished on the Day of Christ Jesus" This is awesome! This means that God is not done with us yet, we are still the clay in His hands. Holy Spirit is revealing all these to us so that our joy will be complete, "In me you will have peace"

Beloved, we are saved in hope, we are children of hope. If God who is righteous and does not change, made us majestic and beautiful, especially in His image and likeness, saved us while we were sinning, is still carrying out THIS GOOD WORKS OF GRACE IN OUR LIVES, TO BE FINISHED ON THE DAY OF CHRIST, HOW WILL THAT DAY BE?

These are things that should keep us joyful, for those" our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,(II Corinthians 4:17) Why? BECAUSE WE ARE GROWING IN GRACE, HENCE BLAMELESS IN HIS SIGHT. Haggai 2:9 says "The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former",

The Father’s plan is for us to be conformed into the image of Christ, so this work is not complete untill the day of Christ, the day of perfection. Psalms 84:7 NIV says "They go from strength to strength, till each appears before God in Zion." Why? BECAUSE WE ARE GROWING IN GRACE, HENCE BLAMELESS IN HIS SIGHT.

That is why Proverbs 4:18 NKJV says

" the path of the just is like the shining sun, That shines ever brighter unto the perfect day." The sun gives out it's first gleam, then shines brighter and brighter untill the perfect day. Job 8:7 NKJV says

"Though your beginning was small, Yet your latter end would increase abundantly."

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO PERSEVERE TILL THE DAY OF CHRIST JESUS TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
