How I love your Temple, Lord Almighty!

Psalm 84:1 GNT

Christ is the temple of God, the embodiment of the Godhead. The Bible says "For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross. (Colossians 1:19‭-‬20 NIV)

It is in him that everything is held together and God's covenant fulfilled. We became the temple of the Holy Trinity and share in the fulfillment of this eternal covenant because He is in us and we are in him. Our duty is to abide in him at all times, through prayers, obedience to his teachings and holy communion.

King David asked " one thing only do I want: to live in the Lord's house all my life, to marvel there at his goodness, and to ask for his guidance. In times of trouble he will shelter me; he will keep me safe in his Temple and make me secure on a high rock.
