They say, ‘Why does the Lord try to teach us like that? Who does he think that we are? He speaks to us as if we are babies! He thinks that we have just left our mother's breast! He teaches us one rule at a time, one line at a time. He says it several times, a little bit here, a little bit there.’ (Isaiah 28:9-10 EASY)
It seems odd for us if an adult still depends on the mother for everything even after getting married. But that is the relationship we have with our heavenly Father. If you want to understand this relationship, look at Jesus, who even at 30years still depended on his Father; "And you will know that I do nothing by myself. I say only what the Father has taught me to say. (John 8:28)
He also said "I am in the Father and the Father is in me. You should believe that. The words that I say to you do not come from me myself. But the Father lives in me, and he is doing his work. (John 14:10) In another place He says "But it will happen very soon that all of you will run away to your own homes. Yes, that time has already arrived. You will run away and leave me alone. But I will not really be alone, because the Father is always with me. (John 16:32)
Just as babies, we are dependent on our heavenly Father for our glory, our heavenly Father is dependent on us for his glory. Jesus was conceived, led, performed miracles, led to the cross, offered himself to the Father, gave instructions to his disciples, and took up to heaven all by the Spirit of the Father. Let us live by this consciousness.
MAY THE PEACE OF THE LORD BE WITH US ALWAYS
WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO LIVE OUR LIVES FULLY DEPENDENT ON OUR HEAVENLY FATHER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
THANK YOU JESUS!
