“And I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to You. Holy Father, keep them in Your name, which You have given Me, that they may be one, even as We are one.”

— John 17:11 ESV

In the 12th verse of our theme verse, the Lord said, “While I was with them, I kept them in Your name, which You have given Me. I have guarded them, and not one of them has been lost except the son of destruction, that the Scripture might be fulfilled.”

What a wonderful assurance! No one who is kept in the name of Jesus can ever be lost or missing. The disciples were preserved, protected, and guarded because Jesus kept them in the Father's name. Not one of them was lost outside of what had already been foretold in Scripture.

Today, we share in that same divine protection. We have been entrusted to the Father's care through Christ and are kept by His mighty name. Let us then learn to hallow His name by remaining conscious of this truth and refusing to be ruled by fear, anxiety, or uncertainty. Our confidence rests not in our own strength, but in God's unfailing ability to preserve those who belong to Him.

This is why  Psalm 91:14 NIV declares, “Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.” Let us acknowledge His name in all things, for we  are kept from defeat!  We shall not be lost, missing, or overcome, for we are kept in His name.

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO HALLOW GOD'S NAME BY LIVING IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
