WE ARE NOT HIDDEN, WE BURN AND SHINE

Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

‭‭Matthew 5:14 KJV‬‬

The Lord is not hiding us, we are cities on a hill. In the 15th verse He said, “Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.” Think of this, if you buy a luxury sports car, let's say Ferrari, you would not want to drive it on a 30 miles per hour street, but rather on a highway.

The same way, the Lord lighted us with His own excellences and virtues and placed us on a hill so we can show forth His excellences to the world, why? “ For God so loved the world.” . We are not hidden, it doesn't matter anymore where we are in this world, our light shines. Our duty is to believe. The exciting part is that He said, “I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled!” WE are to set the world on fire, burning and shining with all the virtues and excellences of the Holy Spirit.

It is not for us to worry about how, for it is through the power of the Holy Spirit through whom Jesus set us on fire, burning and shining! Ponder this: “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice goes out into all the earth.”‭‭ (Psalms 19:1-4 NIV‬‬)

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO REMAIN IN UNBROKEN FELLOWSHIP WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT SO AS TO SHINE OUR LIGHT IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
