WE ARE PECULIAR

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people he chose for his inheritance - Psalms 33:12 NIV

We are God's special people, people He chose as His own. Think of what it means! The Bible says "you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light."

1 Peter 2:9 NIV

That means we are built to display only the praises of God, that is we display God's greatness, holiness,faithfulness, righteousness, to the world to see and praise Him. This means that all things works for our good. The circumstances we go through don't define us, for God might be passing us through certain circumstances which might not be pleasant at the moment but will end in praise.

That Joseph was in the prison, does not make him a prisoner. That God told Abraham that his children will be slaves in Egypt, did not make them slaves, instead they left Egypt, strong, loaded with gold and none was feeble. Our Lord Jesus became poor, was made sin, does not mean He was poor, sinner,. That we have treasures in earthen vessels does not make us weak, but for our power of excellence to be from God.
