WE ARE SET APART II

Preserve my life, for I am holy; You are my God; Save Your servant who trusts in You!

Psalms 86:2 NKJV

Holy means set apart, we are set apart from the decays and corruption of this world, not by our power or merit, rather by what God has done in Christ Jesus. The Lord said that in John 17:19 NLT , “ And I give myself as a holy sacrifice for them so they can be made holy by your truth.”

We should not be panicking as the world does when in face of tribulations for we are set apart from them. Though we are physically present in this world, spiritually, we are translated. Our real life is hidden in Christ in God, set apart from this fallen world. Psalm 91:9-10 ESV says,“Because you have made the Lord your dwelling place— the Most High, who is my refuge— no evil shall be allowed to befall you, no plague come near your tent.”

It is similar to what the Lord said about the end time, “ I tell you, in that night there will be two men in one bed: the one will be taken and the other will be left. Two women will be grinding together: the one will be taken and the other left. Two men will be in the field: the one will be taken and the other left.” (Luke 17:34-36 NKJV)

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO HAVE A SET APART MINDSET IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
