WE ARE SPARED FROM OUR PAST, AND OUR FUTURE IS BRIGHT IV

You’ve gone into my future to prepare the way, and in kindness you follow behind me to spare me from the harm of my past. You have laid your hand on me!

Psalms 139:5 TPT

We are made whole in Christ, completely lacking nothing. " Upon him was the chastisement that made us whole..

(Isaiah 53:5 RSV) So He has gone into our future as our opening verse says, and guaranteed our peace and wellbeing.

That is why He is the Mediator, the guarantor of the new covenant. Just as

in Genesis 43:9, Judah was a surety for Benjamin, guaranteeing his safety in their trip to Egypt. Jesus, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, by His chastisement has guaranteed our safety throughout our journey in this dark world. Glory.

Most wonderful is that He canceled all the record of charges against us, and made us new in Christ, hence we have no past, sin has lost power over us, whether ancestral or foundational, glory! so sin has lost power over us. This way He has spared us from the harm of the past.

That is why King David said “I’ve got it made! Nothing can stop me now! I’m God’s favored one; he’s made me steady as a mountain!” (Psalms 30:6‭-‬7 TPT) We should be dancing to this!! No wonder Psalms 16:6 CEV says "You make my life pleasant, and my future is bright."
