to give his people the knowledge of salvation through the forgiveness of their sins - Luke 1:77 NIV

Sin was the thing that sent us to the death realm. But through grace, our sins are forgiven, we are dead to sin, it has lost its power over us, so we were saved from the death realm. Because we are dead to sin, we cannot go back to the death realm again. That is why Psalm 30:3 NIV says "You, Lord, brought me up from the realm of the dead; you spared me from going down to the pit."

Also, we are alive to God in Christ, in Him there is a fountain of mercy and overflowing redemption(Psalms 130:7) So, even though we sin, we obtain forgiveness from Him. Our old sinful selves full of distress were crucified with Christ so we no longer live, but our mercy seat, the propiation for our sins, our atoning sacrifice lives in us and speaks for us. What else are we worried or anxious for?

Let us walk in this consciousness that sin is forgiven, we have been delivered from the death realm and it's dangers such as wretchedness, sickness, untimely death etc. Also, since sin is forgiven, we are spared from going down to the death realm again.

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO WALK IN THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF HIS SALVATION IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
