WE DON'T BELONG TO OURSELVES BUT TO GOD

Know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.- Psalms 100:3 NKJV

We belong to God, we are not our own, we are bought with a price. Our Owner lives in us, giving us the power both to will and to do according to His purpose.

2 Corinthians 4:7 tells us that "we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us."

The Lord said "Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works.

(John 14:10 NKJV) The same way, we live in Jesus, and Jesus in us, so He does His own work through us.

So, our life is all about God living in us and doing His own work and not our own work, we don't own nothing for we don't belong to ourselves. We are just the branch, God is the gardener, and He prunes us for His own purpose and not for our purpose.

We are His masterpiece recreated to do the work He planned for us and not the work we planned for ourselves. This is how to live a grace filled life, free of stress and anxiety. Knowing that we are not our own. So relax even in our weaknesses, for His power is manifested in our weaknesses.

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO LIVE A RELAXED LIFE, ASCRIBING ALL POWER TO GOD, SO THAT THE EXCELLENCES OF OUR POWER MIGHT BE OF HIM, IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
