WE DON'T FRET FOR WE ARE IN A GLORIOUS UNION II

When he was gone, Jesus said, “Now the Son of Man is glorified and God is glorified in him. If God is glorified in him, God will glorify the Son in himself, and will glorify him at once- John 13:31‭-‬32 NIV

The Lord prayed : “Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you." (John 17:1 NIV) The Lord glorified the Father in Himself by His finished work on the cross, "I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do. (John 17:4 NIV)

The Father also glorified the Son by the same finished work. Remember the Lord spoke about it, "Did not the Messiah have to suffer these things and then enter his glory?”(Luke 24:26 NIV) We are also glorified in Christ and Christ in us by the same work of His cross, Co-crucified, co-glorified! St Peter spoke about how the prophets were trying to find out the time and circumstances regarding the sufferings of the Messiah and the glories that would follow us. (1 Peter 1:11‭-‬12 )

Beloved, our glory is not about how much we have, what we do or material possessions, rather Christ in you is the hope of glory of God. That is why we don't fret, for when we go through many hardships, trials and tribulations, we still remain unscathed. "We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair;" (2 Corinthians 4:8 NIV) We remain the bush engulfed in flames but never burnt, all because we are glorified in Christ.

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO STAND FIRM IN TRIALS AND NOT FRET IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
