WE DWELL IN SAFETY

But I will spare the region of Goshen, where my people live, so that there will be no flies there. I will do this so that you will know that I, the Lord, am at work in this land.

Exodus 8:22 GNT

Notice our verse did not say I will spare my people, rather it says " I will spare the region of Goshen, where my people live,". That means we and all we are, including our soul, body, spirit, finances, marriages etc have to dwell in his kingdom, not just visit, we have to make Christ our abode not a place of visit.

We are a peculiar breed, it is important that we know that we are not of this world, but of the kingdom of Light, our city of Goshen, that is Zion, our city of solemnities ( Isaiah 33:20) So elemental forces of this world have no effect on us. Be it sickness, wretchedness, untimely death etc. No matter how the circumstances of our society is, we are unshakable.

Exodus 9:26 says that "The region of Goshen, where the Israelites lived, was the only place where there was no hail. Though we live in this world, we are not of this world, we are of God's kingdom where no Sickness or distress occurs. "A thousand may fall dead beside you, ten thousand all around you, but you will not be harmed." (Psalm 91:7 )

Beloved, let us not adapt to the system of this world, for we are not defined by it. Romans 12:2 says "Do not conform yourselves to the standards of this world, but let God transform you inwardly by a complete change of your mind." This is done through the word of God. "Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. (John 17:17 MEV)
