The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

John 10:10 NKJV

My high school teacher once scolded me saying, “if Gold should rust, how about other metals? In science, reactive elements are those elements that need to lose or gain an electron so as to maintain a stable state. There are also those that are non reactive, they don't need to gain or lose an electron, for they are naturally stable, Gold is one of them.

OUR theme verse tells us that we have abundant life, that is a rich and satisfying life, a life that cannot be stolen, killed or destroyed. Just as pure gold by it's nature, does not fade or rust when subjected to environmental conditions like rain, wind. In the same way, our life by It's nature, cannot be stolen, killed or destroyed irrespective of the troubles we might face.

Let us grow in the knowledge of this new life. It is the life of God, a life from above. We need to know it for we have the nature of God now. In John 17:3 NKJV, the Lord said, “And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” it is a life of relationship with the triune God.

Such knowledge will help us to build inner peace so as not to react to our daily troubles, rather respond to them as those who have superfluous life!

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO WALK IN NEWNESS OF LIFE IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
