WE HAVE AN IMPERISHABLE INHERITANCE

“Go, stand in the temple courts,” he said, “and tell the people all about this new life.” - Acts 5:20 NIV

Through the resurrection of our Lord Jesus, we received a new life in Christ, with a new inheritance. The Bible says "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you,

(1 Peter 1:3‭-‬4 NIV)

This is why we should endure trials for we are dead to them and alive to God in Christ. Troubles of this world do not define us, for the Lord has overcome them for us. Instead, the Bible tells us to set our minds and hearts on this inheritance above, on Christ.

Most Israelites allowed the troubles of the wilderness to define them, hence doubted the power of God to lead them to their inheritance. Therefore stand firm and trust God to lead us to home. The Bible says "They will neither hunger nor thirst, nor will the desert heat or the sun beat down on them. He who has compassion on them will guide them and lead them beside springs of water." (Isaiah 49:10)

WE BLESS YOU GOD THE LOVING FATHER OF OUR BELOVED LORD JESUS CHRIST FOR THE INHERITANCE YOU GAVE US IN CHRIST, PRAISEWORTHY AND EXALTED IS YOUR NAME FOREVER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
