WE IMPART LIFE

For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself, - John 5:26 NKJV

The Greek word for life in our verse is Zoe, that is God kind of life, it is the source of all life in Heaven and on earth. All life has it's existence from Zoe, but Zoe is self-existent. That is the life we received from Jesus, a self existent life, a life that encompasses all life on earth, human life,animal and plant life.

That is why 1 Corinthians 15:45 says

"The first man, Adam, became a living soul. The last Adam became the life-giving Spirit." We are life-giving spirits, for we have Zoe, Glory! "Adam, the first man, was made from the dust of the earth, while Christ, the second man, came from heaven. Earthly people are like the earthly man, and heavenly people are like the heavenly man."

This is why we can speak life into every aspect of our lives; our health and wellbeing, marriage, length of days, finances, plants and animals, rains, winds etc.

However, we have not received our full status yet as sons of God, that is why though we are heavenly, we still face certain challenges. "For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.
