But I am like an olive tree flourishing in the house of God; I trust in the loving devotion of God forever and ever.- Psalms 52:8 BSB
It is good we understand that what we are today is by his grace not by our goodness.
We cannot prove to him that we can be godly by ourselves, rather God is displaying to the world through us the surpassing riches of His grace.
The Bible says "But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
(Ephesians 2:4-7 NKJV)
Today, we live by his loving kindness, not by our merit. So we don't attribute our strength or weaknesses to our merit, for by doing so, we are implying that God is not rich in grace. The Bible says "I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ to die. (Galatians 2:21 NLT)
BLESSED ARE YOU GOD THE FATHER OF OUR LORD JESUS FOR YOUR INTENSE AND EXCEEDING LOVE FOR YOUR CHILDREN WHICH ENDURES FOREVER. HALLELUJAH!
THANK YOU JESUS!
