WE LIVE FOR JESUS

For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.” - John 6:38‭, ‬40 NKJV

Beloved, we don't live for our own, we live for Jesus, it is even more comforting that we don't live for ourselves but for Jesus. Our agenda on earth is same as Jesus, "For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me."

The Lord prayed "I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.

(John 17:23 NKJV)

So our life on earth should reflect in all manner, the life of Jesus so the world will see and believe in Jesus. "that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have an everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.” -

Just as while Jesus was on earth, God was in him reconciling the world to himself, the same way Jesus is in us reconciling the world to himself. How? Through our mannerisms, "that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him". In another the Lord said " Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 5:16 MEV)

Know that we are not the one doing it, instead the Spirit of Jesus in us does His own work. Our duty is to die to self everyday so that this life of Jesus will manifest in our lives. The Bible says "always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.(II Corinthians 4:10 NKJV)

We decrease so that The life of Jesus will increase in us.
