WE LIVE UNDER HIS AUTHORITY

For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.” - Matthew 8:9 NKJV

Did you know that there is an authority in being a child of God? You have to receive authority from God to become a child of God. "They did believe in him. He gave authority to those people to become God's children.

John 1:12 EASY)

How did we receive the authority? Through the Immortal Word. The Scripture says "But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. (Ephesians 2:4‭-‬5 NIV)

His Word made us alive from the grave of sin. That is why verse 8 of our opening verse says " I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed". His words are life givers, it gives life. Psalm 103:20 NIV says "He sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave.(Psalms 107:20 NIV)

Now that we live and function in his authority, who can challenge it? Is it sin, lack, sickness, untimely death? None! That is why the Scripture says "You have been regenerated (born again), not from a mortal origin (seed, sperm), but from one that is immortal by the ever living and lasting Word of God.(1 Peter 1:23 AMPC)

Beloved, live and function under the authority of the immortal Word, and never under any other authority, Yes!
