WE OWN EVERYTHING

“His father said to him, ‘Look, dear son, you have always stayed by me, and everything I have is yours - Luke 15:31 NLT

Our verse is taken from the parable of the prodigal son. It is the answer the father gave the older son who was angry because the father was celebrating his prodigal brother who squandered the father's money.

Sometimes, we might feel perplexed that God is not answering our prayers. It might even seem to us that others or even the unbelievers are doing better than us. The answer is that God did not forsake us, rather, everything He has belongs to us.

The Lord said "The Father loves the Son and has given him everything" (John 3:35 CEV)

We are joint heirs with Christ, so we own everything, and it is a forever thing because a son is a permanent member of the family (John 8:35)

Beloved, let us wait patiently for God, for He meets us at our point of need. He is just and our ever-present help in times of need. He cannot deny us what belongs to us. Let us not lose heart for it is God's pleasure to make us heirs of His kingdom, glory and power.
