WHO IS YOUR GOD II ?

Lord, through all the generations you have been our home! - Psalms 90:1 NLT

Acts of the Apostles 17:28 NLT says "For in him we live and move and exist" We all have one home, God. We are not from the world . If you take a fish out of the river, for it to survive on earth, it has to be in water, like an aquarium. Likewise, we are dead by baptism for us to survive on earth, we have to live in Christ, He is our aquarium.

The Isrealites were placed in the wilderness, even though they were not from the wilderness. If God didn't provide them with food, clouds and fires, that is their own aquarium, they would not have survived.

We should see God as our only hope in life, and because He is a holy God, He will never forsake us. Psalms 20:7 NIV says "Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God."

Beloved, the best thing that happened to us is this "“You shall have no other gods before me. (Exodus 20:3 NIV) Ponder this, if God is our only true God, Lord and savior, and He is Holy and righteous, what else are we worried for ?

Therefore, we are not moved when we have not received answers to our prayers, for we know He is faithful, so we relate to Him beyond human senses, not by what we see, His deeds, but by who He is. This way we don't want to sin against Him, not because we want to receive from Him, but because we love Him, with reverence

That is when the peace of God that is beyond our senses comes to live in us. That is why Psalms 33:21 NIV says "In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name."
