WHY DID GOD REST? IV

Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy - Exodus 20:8 KJV

Remembering the Sabbath day is a reminder for us that we have entered His rest, and have ceased worrying. Everything is already made available for us, If not God couldn't have rested. If not we wouldn't be sitting together with Jesus at the right hand power of God, " For “He has put all things under His feet.”

(I Corinthians 15:27 NKJV) So why worry

I wonder why we don't worry about day not coming after night, the sun and moon falling down or earth falling off it's orbit,or waking up with no more air, or even no land to walk or drive on. Why not worry that the firm boundary that prevents the sea from covering the earth might break?

.(Psalms 104:9) So, we wake up submerged in sea or floating!

Instead we worry about little things like, clothing, houses, cars etc. No wonder the Lord said, " Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing?"(Matthew 6:25 NLT)

So I ask, Is air not better than food and drink, is land not better than houses, cars? for if there is no air, how can we survive, if there is no land, how can we build, walk or even drive? If God can give us air, land, day and night, won't He give us all that we wanted? Let us quit worrying and trust and enjoy God's rest.

WORTHY ARE YOU HEAVENLY FATHER TO RECEIVE GLORY HONOR AND POWER. FOR YOU CREATED ALL THINGS AND THEY EXIST BECAUSE YOU CREATED WHAT YOU PLEASED.
