WHY DID GOD REST? V

Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy - Exodus 20:8 KJV

God rested because He created all things good and He is pleased with all that He created, and all exist because He created what He pleased. Revelation 4:11 NLT says “You are worthy, O Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power. For you created all things, and they exist because you created what you pleased.”

SO, WE EXIST BECAUSE IT PLEASES HIM THAT WE EXIST, HOW?

"God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure" (Ephesians 1:5 NLT) So, if this gave Him great pleasure, who and what can separate us from Him?

James 1:18 NKJV says "Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures." While Luke 12:32 NKJV says

“Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom."

Beloved, why are we not resting as the Lord does? If God delights in us this way, who and what can be against us? We are the object of His pleasure, joy,

Zephaniah 3:17 CEV " He celebrates and sings because of you, and he will refresh your life with his love.”

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO REST AS GOD DOES IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
