Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.
Ephesians 3:20 NLT
Psalms 121:1-2 NIV says, I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.”
The mighty power of God we need to accomplish God's work on earth, dwells in us. It is divine, limitless, and far beyond the capacity of human reasoning. St. Paul prayed, “I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him in the place of honor at God's right hand in the heavenly realms.” (Ephesians 1:19-20 NLT)
However, we are carrying this extraordinary treasure within fragile vessels. (2 Corinthians 4:7 NIV)
Though God's power dwells within us, our natural understanding is often too restricted to fully comprehend or access all that He has made available to us.
Our minds, knowledge, and human reasoning are limited, while God's power is limitless. As a result, if we rely solely on our natural understanding, we may not fully draw upon the divine resources available to us, thereby limiting the extent of God's work through us on earth.
This is one reason speaking in tongues is so important. When we pray in tongues, we bypass the limitations of human intellect and communicate directly with God through the Spirit. For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to people but to God. Indeed, no one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit." ( 1 Corinthians 14:2 (NIV)
We connect with a realm that transcends natural understanding and tap into the inexhaustible power of God at work within us.
WE BLESS YOU HEAVENLY FATHER FOR THE GIFT OF TONGUES, WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO SPEAK IN TONGUES MORE OFTEN IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
THANK YOU JESUS!
