YES WE REIGN IN LIFE BY CHRIST

Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,

Hebrews 2:14 NKJV

The Lord has disarmed the devil of the power to cause death in our lives. This includes financial, marital, health and untimely death. The Bible says "who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed."

(I Peter 2:24 NKJV)

So we have died to sin and alive to righteousness. Therefore, just as sin reigned causing death to all that pertains to our life, so also grace reigns through righteousness giving life to our soul, finances, marriages, health and length of days! (Romans 5:21) That is why the Bible says "if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness." (Romans 8:10 NIV)

Many Christians are still living as victims to sin and death because they lack this knowledge. We need to allow this Gospel of grace to penetrate deep into our spirit, live in constant awareness that we are dead to sin and alive to righteousness. For "... they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ" (Romans 5:17 KJV)
