OUR FATHER WHO ART IN HEAVEN

ALL WE DESIRE IS CHRIST

O Lord, You are the portion of my inheritance and my cup;

‭Psalms 16:5 NKJV‬

Ponder this Psalm of David; “The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? [4] One thing I have desired of the Lord, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord, And to inquire in His temple. (‭Psalms 27:1, 4 NKJV‬)

Notice that He did not ask for light , salvation or the strength of his life. Instead His desire is, “ That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life” Why? In verse 5 of the psalm He said, ” For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock.”

All we need in life is Christ, those who are in Christ should be confident that they are set high on a rock, and that in times of troubles they are secured . He who has Christ has everything. No wonder the Lord said, “ seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”( ‭Matthew 6:33 NKJV‬) Christ is our inheritance, let take hold of our possession by faith in His words. “The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; Yes, I have a good inheritance.”‭(Psalms 16:6 NKJV‬)

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO TAKE HOLD OF OUR POSSESSION TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER IN JESUS NAME, AMEN!
