Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.

Hebrews 13:15 NKJV

The Lord accepts thanksgiving as a sacrifice to Him. Psalms 50:14 NLT says,

“ Make thankfulness your sacrifice to God, and keep the vows you made to the Most High.” If you live a life of thanksgiving to God, you are making your life a holy sacrifice to God, the type that pleases Him. For you are surrendering yourself and all that you are in thanks offering to God, irrespective of the circumstances.

The Greek word translated as “giving thanks” as used in our theme is “homologeo”, which means to acknowledge, confess. This means giving God thanks for who He really is, confessing to His greatness, goodness, and lovingkindness. You are saying words of praise to Him in agreement to who He really is, regardless of your circumstances. The Lord spoke about this kind of worship, “ But the time is coming—indeed it’s here now—when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way.”(John 4:23 NLT)

Instead of living in worries, be thankful to God, confessing His greatness, praising Him for all He has done for us in Christ Jesus. “For with the mouth one confesses and is saved.”(Romans 10:10 ) That is why “Psalms 67:5-6 NLT says, “May the nations praise you, O God. Yes, may all the nations praise you. Then the earth will yield its harvests, and God, our God, will richly bless us.”

WE BLESS YOU HOLY FATHER FOR YOUR STEADFAST LOVE ENDURES FOREVER! PRAISEWORTHY AND EXALTED IS YOUR NAME FOREVER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
