ARE YOU CONFIDENT AT HIS COMING?

And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.

I ushered a couple and their teenage daughter to the front seats, but the teenager hesitated because she was wearing a tank top, which I never paid attention to, but the father insisted they stay in the front.

Beloved, if Jesus appears today, what is that sin that will make you hesitant to welcome Him boldly? Hebrews 10:12 NKJV says, “But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God.” Jesus has paid for our sins once and for all, and we are seated together with Him at the right hand of God.

1John 4:17 NKJV says, “ Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.” Let us not allow sin consciousness to hinder us from coming to the Lord.

I John 3:2-3 NKJV says it good, “Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.”
