I will make a distinction between my people and your people. This sign will occur tomorrow.’ ”

Exodus 8:23 NIV

God has made a distinction between the unbelieving World and us. If we evaluate

ourselves, can we see the distinction between them and us , between those in the spirit and those in the flesh?

The Lord said that by their fruit we shall know them. Are we walking in the spirit where we live? Or are we living in the flesh as the unbelievers?

Galatians 5:22-23 NIV says,”the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” While The acts of the flesh are, “sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies,”

To live the distinctive life Jesus purchased for us, is to set our minds on the things of the spirit, where we live, and we will not walk in the flesh. It might seem tough at the beginning, but know that we are doing it by the power of the Holy Spirit. Ezekiel 36:27 NIV says, “And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.”

Our duty in Christ is to renew our minds.

It is all about mindset. Remember, “Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. (Galatians 5:24 NIV) Let us not accept those ungodly thoughts as unbelievers who have not crucified their flesh.

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO LIVE A DISTINCTIVE LIFE IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
