Remember the first miracle of Aaron’s rod turning into a serpent before Pharaoh in Egypt. Exodus 7:11-12 NKJV says, “But Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers; so the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments. For every man threw down his rod, and they became serpents. But Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods.”

Have you thought about why God allowed such a miracle knowing fully well how the outcome would be? We are in a fallen world, and might pass through its troubles as the world does, but can not be absorbed by it. We are distinct. We have eternal life, God wants us to really know this. I John 5:13 NKJV says, “These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.”

I Peter 1:24-25 NKJV says, “All flesh is as grass, And all the glory of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, And its flower falls away, But the word of the Lord endures forever..” But we are not born of the flesh. John 1:13 NKJV says

“who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” Let us comfort one another with this message.
