I will make a distinction between my people and your people. This sign will occur tomorrow.’ ”

Exodus 8:23 NIV

To live the distinctive life Jesus purchased for us, we must learn to change the way we speak. We talk from victory and not from defeat. For we are raised to new life with Christ, we share in His resurrection life. The Spirit that raised Jesus from death lives in us. Hence we do not go through moments the same way the world does. To the eyes of the unbelieving world, it might seem like we are perishing when we pass through troubles, but we are not broken by it.

We are spiritually resilient. We are like the bush engulfed in flames but never burnt.

Prophet Micah says about it, “ Do not gloat over me, my enemies! For though I fall, I will rise again. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light.” (Micah 7:8 NLT) When the troubles of this world come at us, the Spirit of God sets a standard for them , For He will not allow His Holy ones to see the decays of this World.

Let us learn then to persevere with joy for troubles does not destroy us, rather builds us up to greater glory. How? For the more we persevere, we build character. (Romans 5) As we align our thoughts with God's words while persevering, our minds are renewed in knowledge, hence we are transformed from glory to glory.

II Corinthians 4:17 NKJV says, “ For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,”

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO LIVE A DISTINCTIVE LIFE IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
