ARE YOU HIS SHEEP?

But you don’t believe me because you are not my sheep.

John 10:26 NLT

Are you His sheep? The Lord said, “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me, “(John 10:27-28 NLT) He characterized his sheep as those who listen to His voice and also follow Him. Not all that listens to Jesus follows Him.

In John 6, the disciples of Jesus who listen to Him, and he even fed them, yet they left Him. They did not follow Him.

“At this point many of his disciples turned away and deserted him.” (John 6:66 NLT)

No one can follow Jesus without fellowship with the Holy Spirit by abiding in His words. and the Holy Spirit will open our hearts and minds to understand and follow Him.

He has already given us eternal life. And in John 17:3 NLT He said “And this is the way to have eternal life—to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth.” Our part is to follow Him, that is to walk in the same realm with Him in mind and spirit by growing in His knowledge through His words. Then the Holy Spirit will reveal Him to us. For” no one can say Jesus is Lord, except by the Holy Spirit.”( 1Corinthians 12:3 NLT)
