ARE YOU LIVING A WRINKLE-FREE LIFE ?
“To make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word,”
Ephesians 5:26 NIV
Beloved, our theme reveals how Christ cleanses His Church through His Word. His ultimate desire is to present His Church to Himself in glory: “...to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.”
(Ephesians 5:27 NIV)
We live in a fallen world filled with spiritual dust, worldly influences, and pressures that can leave wrinkles on our spiritual lives. Yet Christ desires a Church that is spotless, radiant, and blameless when He returns. This is why we must continually allow His Word to cleanse our hearts and renew our minds.
Beloved, the Word of God is our spiritual cleanser! Jesus declared, “You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you” (John 15:3 NIV). Just as physical dirt accumulates through daily contact with our surroundings, worldly thoughts and influences can affect our minds and hearts.
Remember, spiritual growth is a process.
God cleanses us, from inside out, for in our kingdom, we grow as a mustard seed, we grow gradually from small to big.Therefore, beloved, let us saturate our hearts and minds with God's Word daily
Christ desires a radiant Church, prepared for His glorious return. Let us cooperate with His cleansing work today so that, when He comes, we will be found holy and blameless before Him.
