ARE YOU STANDING IN THE GAP FOR GOD’S FLOCK? 1
For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem’s sake I will not remain quiet, till her vindication shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch.
Isaiah 62:1 NIV
Beloved, notice the compassion and unwavering commitment in God’s heart toward His people: “For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem’s sake I will not remain quiet.”
God's heart is set on our vindication. His will is the salvation, and restoration of everyone This is why in Isaiah 62:6–7 NIV, He said, “I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the Lord, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth.”
Beloved, we are the light of the world, the salt of the earth, God’s own watchmen on earth.
It is written concerning us to partner with Him in enforcing His will on earth, salvation of all souls, through persistent prayer, spiritual vigilance, and the faithful proclamation of His Word.
Are you standing in the gap for His people? Are you faithfully praying and declaring His Word until His purposes are established?
Remember the words of the Lord, “Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time? It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns.”;(Matthew 24:45–46 NIV)
WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO STAND IN THE GAP FOR OUR FAMILY, COMMUNITY AND THE CHURCH IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
