His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him—though he is not far from any one of us.
Acts 17:27 NLT
A blessed advent, beloved! Have you considered why most of the time we have to wait on God for our needs, just as the Israelites did in the desert, even though we are His heirs, joint heirs with Christ?
It is for us to seek and find Him! God did not give us an ATM kind of seeking and finding. He personally came down on earth and spent 33 years with us on earth seeking us out. In Ezekiel 34:11 NLT, He said “ I myself will search and find my sheep.
He has found us, it is our turn to spend time to seek and find Him . The Bible says, “Acts of the Apostles 17:26-27 NLT, “From one man he created all the nations throughout the whole earth. He decided beforehand when they should rise and fall, and he determined their boundaries. “His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him—though he is not far from any one of us.”
God is not doing hide and seek with us, for “it is in Him we live and move and have our being.” Beloved, if you know that the power to live ,move and be who we are in life is not from our work or anywhere else, but from God, won't you earnestly seek with the purpose of finding Him above all things? This is why Jesus said, we should not worry about tomorrow's troubles, instead seek first the kingdom of God and everything will be added to us. (Matthew 6)
Beloved, we all strayed in many ways,
Let us use this Advent season to seek with the purpose of finding the very One who gives us the power to live and move and have our being! That is why we have to wait, that is to align our ways with His ways to receive. Jeremiah 29:13-14 ESV says, “ You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares the Lord, and I will restore your fortunes..”
WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO SEEK GOD WITH THE PURPOSE OF FINDING HIM IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
THANK YOU JESUS!
