“His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him—though he is not far from any one of us.

Acts 17:27 NLT

Finally, beloved, Colossians 2:6 NLT says, “And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him.” We should not have the mindset that now we are in Christ we need to do a good thing to receive from Him, for we were not saved because we did something good.

Ephesians 2:9 NLT says. “ Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.”

We did not become children of God because of any good thing we did, that is our sinning less life, or wealth or sickness free life. Rather, we are good, sin free, wealthy and sickness free, because we are the children of God.

Let us have a heart that is truly hungry for the Lord and not for the world. Psalms 107:9 NLT says, “For he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.” I will close with a quote from St. Augustine, “You have made us for yourself, O Lord, and our hearts are restless until they rest in you”

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO SEEK GOD WITH THE PURPOSE OF FINDING HIM IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
