His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him—though he is not far from any one of us.
Acts 17:27 NLT
The best way to seek God and find Him is to picture ourselves in a desert just as the Israelites were. They were allowed to go thirsty in a dry land , before God gave them water. This way they learnt that their power to prosper is only from God. Sometimes, we might think that there is something else we need to do until when we come to the end of ourselves, then we turn completely to God. That is why many call Him God of the 11th hour.
Isaiah 41:17 NLT says, “When the poor and needy search for water and there is none, and their tongues are parched from thirst, then I, the Lord, will answer them. I, the God of Israel, will never abandon them.” We can only seek God and find Him when we know in our hearts that He has the only say in our lives. Then we will be like Adam and Eve who were not bothered by their nakedness for God's glory was their cover.
Isaiah 41:19-20 NLT says, “I will plant trees in the barren desert— cedar, acacia, myrtle, olive, cypress, fir, and pine. I am doing this so all who see this miracle will understand what it means— that it is the Lord who has done this, the Holy One of Israel who created it.” This explains why we have to seek Him as those in the desert, for our weaknesses are not to destroy us. Rather to show that our strength is from Him alone.
WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO SEEK GOD WITH THE PURPOSE OF FINDING HIM IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
THANK YOU JESUS!
