“His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him—though he is not far from any one of us.
Acts 17:27 NLT
Exodus 4:10-11 ESV says, “ But Moses said to the Lord, “Oh, my Lord, I am not eloquent, either in the past or since you have spoken to your servant, but I am slow of speech and of tongue.” Then the Lord said to him, “Who has made man’s mouth? Who makes him mute, or deaf, or seeing, or blind? Is it not I, the Lord? “
That we are sickness free does not mean we are healthy, our possessions do not determine our wealth. Our flawless performance does not define our righteousness. Rather, Christ in us is our source of health and wealth, He is our righteousness. Instead of worrying over many things, seek Christ first and possess all things. Just as the merchant in the parable of the fine pearls, on finding one pearl of great value, went and sold all that he had, and bought it. ( Matthew 13)
The same way, we should seek Christ above all things until we find Him.
Let us not reject Christ as our only hope of glory because of the things we do see, which do not last, just as the Israelites rejected God as king, for a king they could see, and faced the consequences. (I Samuel 8) Appreciate the Lord with joyful hearts and rest in His care, “..For with the Lord there is steadfast love, and with him is plentiful redemption.” (Psalm 130:7 ESV) This is why Isaiah 12:6 ESV says, "Shout, and sing for joy, O inhabitant of Zion, for great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel.”
WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO APPRECIATE THE LORD WITH JOYFUL HEARTS IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
THANK YOU JESUS!
