ARISE, NATIONS ARE WAITING TO WALK IN YOUR LIGHT

Nations will be drawn to your light, And kings to the dawning of your new day.

Isaiah 60:3 GNT

Beloved, this year is not for living by sight, we have to arise and shine for the world is waiting to see the light of Christ in us. In Deuteronomy 1:6-8 GNT, Moses said to the Israelites, “When we were at Mount Sinai, the Lord our God said to us, ‘You have stayed long enough at this mountain. Break camp and move on. Go to the hill country of the Amorites and to all the surrounding regions—to the Jordan Valley, to the hill country and the lowlands,..... All of this is the land which I, the Lord, promised to give to your ancestors, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and to their descendants. Go and occupy it.’”

Notice that it is a done deal. God was not promising them he would give them anything. Rather, He was commanding them to go and possess what He had already promised to His ancestors. This same way, God is telling us to arise from our pity party and possess all that He has given us in Christ. “For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.”(2 Corinthians 1:20 NIV)

Unlike the Israelites at mount Sinai, Hebrews 12:22 GNT says, “ Instead, you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, with its thousands of angels.”

Acts 20:32 tells us that the Word of God will build us up to receive our inheritance. Let us arise and walk in the light of the word of God and possess our possessions. Nations are waiting to walk in our light. All creation waits eagerly for the revelation of the sons and daughters of God ( Romans 8:19)
