BE ANCHORED IN HIS WORDS

Many places in the Bible, our Lord Jesus escaped attempts on His life because the word of God has it that His time has not reached yet, John 7:30 NIV says, “ At this they tried to seize him, but no one laid a hand on him, because his hour had not yet come.” In another place John 8:59 ESV also says, “So they picked up stones to throw at him, but Jesus hid himself and went out of the temple.

OUR Lord Jesus, though He is the Son of God, had to go through troubles but is kept alive by the word of God.” “his hour had not yet come”. We also should not worry about our troubles for we are kept alive by what the Word says about us.

Hebrews 1:3 ESV says, “He upholds the universe by the word of his power.”

For instance, because we are salts of the earth, Psalms 89:21-22 NKJV says, “With whom My hand shall be established; Also My arm shall strengthen him. The enemy shall not outwit him, Nor the son of wickedness afflict him." Because we are crucified with Christ, we are free from the ruling spirits of this world.(Colossians 2:20) Hence any weapon directed against our finances, marriages, health and wellbeing etc, will not prosper.

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO STAND STRONG IN HIS WORDS DESPITE THE TROUBLES IN THIS TROUBLE WORLD IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
