At this they tried to seize him, but no one laid a hand on him, because his hour had not yet come.

John 7:30 NIV

Just as they could not lay hands on Jesus, not by His own power but because the word of God said that, “his hour had not yet come.” The same way, sickness can not rule over us because the word of God says, By His wounds we were healed “. We cannot be broken by the troubles of this world, be it financial, marital etc, for the punishment that brought us peace was on him! Hallelujah!

Let us learn how to make real the word of God in our lives for it is so. See it this way, we are born of the word of God, if the word of God is not real to us, that means we are not real. We should be able to build an unbroken relationship with our heavenly Father through His words. This way, on the last day we are not just rejoicing that we arrived in heaven, but giving Him a big hug with tears of joy, remembering our walk with Him while on earth.

OUR Lord Jesus, while on earth, lived by the word. At age of 12 displayed greater understanding than the elders. He resisted the enemy's temptation and had more insight than the teachers and scribes. The Psalmist said about Him, “Your commands are always with me and make me wiser than my enemies. I have more insight than all my teachers, for I meditate on your statutes. I have more understanding than the elders, for I obey your precepts.” (Psalms 119:98-100 NIV)

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO BE ANCHORED IN HIS WORDS DESPITE OUR EARTHLY CIRCUMSTANCES IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
