BE BOLD AS A LION

The wicked flee though no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion.

Proverbs 28:1 NIV

We should be bold as a lion when escaping tribulations because our power of escape is the same power that escaped us together with Christ from death, and it lives in us. Ephesians 1:19-20 GNT says, “and how very great is his power at work in us who believe. This power working in us is the same as the mighty strength which he used when he raised Christ from death and seated him at his right side in the heavenly world.”

The Bible says that the Israelites escaped Egypt with shouts of joy, Gold and silver and none of them were feeble. (Psalm 105) Why? Numbers 23:22 NIV says, “ God brought them out of Egypt; they have the strength of a wild ox.” In the same way, we should be bold in all circumstances, for the same power that escaped us from death still upholds us.

That is why Romans 8:11 GNT says, “ If the Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from death, lives in you, then he who raised Christ from death will also give life to your mortal bodies by the presence of his Spirit in you. Psalms 30:3 NLT says, “You brought me up from the grave, O Lord. You kept me from falling into the pit of death.” Let us stand firm in His strength at all times.

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO BE BOLD AND COURAGEOUS IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
