All things remain to this day because of your command, because they are all your servants.

Psalm 119:91 GNT

In Matthew 8:8 BSB, “The centurion answered, “Lord, I am not worthy to have You come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed. “ The centurion reasoned that only the Lord’s words of command is all that is needed to heal his servant. In verse 9 he said, “ For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell one to go, and he goes; and another to come, and he comes.”

This same way, we are born of His Word of command, and everything are His servants. We should be calm in all circumstances knowing that all things serve us. Remember what the Lord said when He heard that His beloved Lazarus was sick, “This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for the glory of God, so that the Son of God may be glorified through it.”

We should also have this mind of Christ when we go through trials for the Lord has glorified God on earth and has given us that same glory. Hence trials build in us a greater glory, and our Lord Jesus is glorified through us, so that the Father will be glorified in the Son. So all things must work out for our own good. Our duty is to stand firm knowing that as those born of His Word of truth, and heirs of His glory, all things serve us.

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO BE BRAVE FOR ALL THINGS SERVE US, IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
