BE BRAVE FOR WE ARE DIVINELY CONNECTED

Speak to the children of Israel: Tell them to make tassels on the corners of their garments throughout their generations, and to put a blue thread in the tassels of the corners.

Numbers 15:38 NKJV

In our text, God out of love wanted the Israelites to make tassels on the corners of their garments to remind them of His commandments. In the old covenant, they couldn't connect to God without keeping the commandments. It could be why the woman with the issue of blood got healed by touching the tassel of Jesus' garment . ( Matthew 9:20)

But In the new covenant, God said, “I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts;”(Jeremiah 31:33) God made us according to His will, in a way that fulfills the law, in a manner pleasing to Him. James 1:18 NKJV says, “Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.”

He made us in a way that He hears us, we are connected to Him. Let us not allow our circumstances to define us as poor, rich children of God, healthy or unhealthy children of God etc. All we need is to be ourselves, live according to His words, His will, just as He created us and stay connected with Him. I John 5:14-15 NKJV says, “ Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.”
