Go and stand in the Temple, and tell the people all about this new life.”

Acts 5:20 GNT

In our text, the apostles were thrown in jail by the Jewish authorities and the angel of God opened the gates at night and led them out with the command, “Go and stand in the Temple, and tell the people all about this new life.” God wants us to know that we have a new life. eternal life, the same kind of life that He has. A life that does not perish.

1 John 5:13 GNT says, “I am writing this to you so that you may know that you have eternal life—you that believe in the Son of God.” He wants that knowledge to grow deep in our hearts. For in the world we might face challenges as the world does, but we will not perish for we have eternal life. He wants that through our union with Christ, we should let go of our former ways, and walk in the newness of life.

John 10:10 GNT says, “ The thief comes only in order to steal, kill, and destroy. I have come in order that you might have life—life in all its fullness.”

OUR duty is to keep believing in Jesus irrespective of our circumstances and we shall live. John 3:16 GNT says, “For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not die but have eternal life.”

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO BELIEVE IN THIS NEW LIFE AND WALK IN IT TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
