Have you thought about what it means that Christ is with you? The very one through whom the whole universe was created is with you? The Lord once asked Phillip, “Have I been with you all this time, Philip, and yet you still don’t know who I am? (John 14:9 NLT) It is no longer about if you are with Him, rather it is about He is with you.

In John 4:10 NLT, the Lord said to the Samaritan woman at the well, “If you only knew the gift God has for you and who you are speaking to, you would ask me, and I would give you living water.” Imagine how our life would be if we knew whom we are in union with and what He can do. Psalm 82:5 ESV says, “They have neither knowledge nor understanding, they walk about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken.”

This is something we need to spend time meditating upon, for such knowledge gives joy and peace in this troubled world.

If Christ is your provider, healer and your righteousness, can you ever lack, be sick, and what can stand between you and God? No wonder the Lord said in Mark 12:24 NLT, “Your mistake is that you don’t know the Scriptures, and you don’t know the power of God.”
