BE CONSCIOUS OF GOD'S PROTECTION AT ALL TIMES

As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people both now and forevermore.

Psalms 125:2 NIV

Have you seen how a mother hen protects her chicks beneath her wings especially during storms? she never uncover her chicks uncovered until the storm is over. He who created a mother hen to be that way, especially during storms, wouldn't He protect His own children, especially in this fallen world ?

Our theme likens God's protective power over us to the mountain that encircles Jerusalem. “As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people both now and forevermore.” The mountain does not encircle Jerusalem only on some days, rather it encircles it all the time. That is how God surrounds us all the time , we are never out of His protective shield.

OUR finances, marriages, health and wellbeing etc, are never out of His protective shield. No wonder Psalms 121:6 NIV says, “ the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.” No more worries! Zechariah 2:5 NLT says, “Then I, myself, will be a protective wall of fire around Jerusalem, says the Lord. And I will be the glory inside the city!’”
